Enhancement Jar and Tree of Hopes at SCoTH 2024. On June 8, 2024, Synergy held its first Synergy Corporate Town Hall (SCoTH) of the year at The Southern Hotel, Surabaya. The event aimed not only to strengthen team connection, but also to promote a more open and collaborative workplace culture.
From the beginning, participants from various departments showed great enthusiasm. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming throughout the day. Through two key activities, the Enhancement Jar and Tree of Hopes, employees had the space to express their voices—whether constructive, reflective, or forward-looking.
Additionally, the event encouraged more open and healthy dialogue between teams. Meanwhile, the feedback submitted through the Enhancement Jar provided a valuable foundation for future improvements. It also served as a reminder of how much employees contribute to the company’s growth.
Enhancement Jar, A Safe Space for Honest Ideas
During the Enhancement Jar session, each employee shared suggestions, input, or concerns anonymously. Because names were not required, the format naturally encouraged openness without fear of judgment. Moreover, creative ideas emerged from diverse perspectives.
Even though the activity seemed simple, it created real value. In fact, many fresh insights came from everyday experiences. Several participants said they felt more appreciated because their opinions had truly been heard. As a result, this session became a starting point for building a healthier culture of open dialogue.
Weaving Hope through Shared Reflection
The Tree of Hopes session followed as a space to write down personal and collective hopes for the future. Some participants expressed a desire for more opportunities to grow and innovate. Others wished for a work environment that remained positive and supportive, even as change continued.
Furthermore, the activity offered a glimpse into how diverse hopes could strengthen one another. When people share their vision together, the spirit of unity tends to grow naturally and sustainably.
Steps Toward a Healthier Work Culture
Through forums like SCoTH, the company hoped to maintain meaningful two-way communication. Also, when employees feel heard, their motivation naturally stays strong. Although there is still room for growth, SCoTH has proven to be a practical step in the right direction.
Moving forward, the company planned to hold SCoTH sessions regularly. That way, both the company and its employees could continue growing through open communication and stronger, more supportive work relationships.
