Career Expo & Campus Recruitment (UKWM Career Days) 2024: Synergy Opens Access to the Industry

Surabaya, March 19–20, 2024 — The professional world continues to evolve rapidly. Therefore, synergy between educational institutions and industries is becoming increasingly crucial. One of the efforts to foster such collaboration was the Career Days event held by Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya (UKWM). This event was part of the Talent Gateway: Industry Talks, Career Expo & Academic Partnerships program. During the event, Synergy took part as a company committed to opening access and career opportunities for Indonesia’s young generation.

Over the course of two days, the event attracted hundreds of UKWM students and alumni. They came to seek inspiration, expand their career knowledge, and of course, explore the various opportunities available. Notably, Synergy’s presence stood out as one of the main highlights, especially for participants who wanted to connect directly with the professional world.

With a strong vision to support national talent development, Synergy participated by setting up a career booth that provided valuable information about the professional world. The booth featured a range of opportunities, from internships to full-time professional roles within the company.

Moreover, the Synergy Recruitment Team shared detailed insights into the company’s work culture, training programs, and recruitment process. Students were visibly enthusiastic. They not only inquired about job openings but also showed genuine interest in understanding the qualifications and long-term career paths available at Synergy.

Positive Response and High Enthusiasm at UKWM Career Days

Throughout the event, Synergy’s booth consistently drew large numbers of visitors. Many of them submitted their resumes on the spot, asked about the selection process, and engaged in meaningful discussions about future career opportunities.

In addition, Synergy received overwhelmingly positive responses from participants. In fact, more than 200 individuals registered directly at Synergy’s booth. Despite the event taking place during the holy month of Ramadan, the level of enthusiasm remained strong. Participants actively visited booths, held discussions, and showed great motivation in exploring career prospects.

“UKWM Career Days participants showed great enthusiasm throughout the event. We saw this clearly from the number of applicants who registered at our booth—over 200 individuals. Many of them asked detailed questions about both internships and full-time job opportunities,” said a representative from the Synergy team.
