The New Version of Digital Taxation
The new version of digital taxation has introduced a more integrated and transparent system, signaling the beginning of a modern reporting era. As part of its response to national tax reforms, Synergy held a training session titled Exploring Tax Regulation and Administration Changes Ahead of Coretax Implementation under PMK 81 of 2024.
Held on December 23, 2024, the session welcomed consultants and employees from various departments. This training aimed to help participants understand the key changes in tax administration that would be introduced through the Coretax system.
Since this system would impact reporting, documentation, and data integration by the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP), it became essential for tax professionals and business practitioners to be well-informed from the beginning.
Putting the Changes into Context
During the opening session, the facilitator explained the background of PMK 81/2024 and DJP’s policy direction. Rather than merely outlining the regulation, the training also encouraged participants to discuss how these changes might affect their existing administrative processes.
Participants explored how Coretax could transform monthly and annual tax reporting processes. Additionally, the session covered potential impacts on corporate and individual taxpayers, especially in terms of compliance and data transparency.
Welcoming the New Digital Tax System
Throughout the session, participants actively asked questions and shared thoughts about their readiness to adopt Coretax. The facilitator responded with practical examples and insights based on real-world cases.
This discussion helped clarify implementation strategies while offering a realistic view of the steps businesses must take starting now. Moreover, participants realized the value of early understanding in avoiding errors and supporting both internal teams and client needs.
Preparing for Tax System Transformation
Through this training, the new version of digital taxation, Synergy reaffirmed its commitment to staying adaptive amid tax and technology reforms. It also emphasized the importance of equipping human resources to face future challenges with confidence.
Presented in a light yet informative tone, the session provided a solid foundation for all participants. With this knowledge, they are better prepared to manage regulatory changes and contribute to effective implementation in their workplaces.
